Bureau for the National Debt, Suriname

The Bureau for the National Debt was established by law, by means of the ”Law on National Debt” of 19 March 2002 (SB 2002 no. 27) (article 14) The Bureau for Government Debt began operations on August 1, 2004, and all tasks assigned to the Bureau for Government Debt were transferred by the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Suriname to the Bureau for Government Debt.
