Revised figures 2011-02-17 on May 2009 - December 2010. Revised figures January-July 2008.The Shadow index for Sweden is published with two decimals from January 2006. Shadow index numbers differ in some months from the corresponding fixed index numbers, which are the index numbers used in regulations referring to the consumer price index in laws, ordinances and agreements. The shadow index numbers are adjusted to take into account certain inadequacies in the basic data on prices or in the methods used for calculating fixed index numbers. Thus, they are consistent with the index for main and subgroups, where corresponding adjustments have been made. The monthly change is calculated on shadow index numbers with two decimals. Revised number compared to earlier published for January 1980, January 1981, January 1982, January 1983, January 1985, January 1987, January 1988, January 1989, January 1991, January 1992, January 1994, January 1995, January 1996, January 1997, January 1998, January 1999, January 2000, January 2001, January 2002, January 2003 and January 2004. Consumer Price Index (CPI)/Living Cost Index, excluding taxes and social benefits, July 1914=100. Month 1914M01 - 2018M11The Cost-of-Living index (excluding direct taxes and social benefits) started in 1914 and ended in June 1954. Since July 1954 it is calculated using the changes in the Consumer Price Index, CPI. The Myrdal-Bouvin consumer price index for 1830 to 1930 has been used for the period prior to 1914. It is difficult to make comparisons over a long period of time, especially since the living conditions have changed dramatically since 1830.

Trade in services by country is expected to be of better quality for larger trade in services counterpart countries. For smaller counterpart countries, the uncertainty in the estimates is considered to be substantial. Therefore, trade in services statistics is only published for counterpart countries with substantial trade in services. Collected data also includes values that have not been allocated by country. From 2013 these values are in larger extent than before allocated to specific countries. The values are allocated by country using country allocated data.

For market producers (including producers for own final use) social contributions of employers have been adjusted downwards and payroll taxes have been adjusted upwards with the same amount. The Church of Sweden is reclassified in the year 2000 from the municipal sector to sector NPISH. Before year 2000 the church of Sweden is included in Municipalities and Federations of local government authorities.Swedish Standard Industrial Classification (SNI 2007) and corresponds to Kind of economic activity (NACE Rev. 2) up to 4-digit level. In some cases a marginal difference can be found in reported figures due to rounding off calculations between annual and quarterly National Accounts tables.

The probability of dying in the highest ages based on an smoothing model. 1970 was the smoothing of probabilities of dying for 85 years and older based on the Wittsteins formula. 1971 and 1972 was the smoothing of probabilities of dying for 86 years and older based on the Wittsteins formula. Between 1973 and 1986 was the smoothing of probabilities of dying for 91 years and older based on the Wittsteins formula. Between 1987 and 2005 were the probability of dying for ages 91 years and older based on a smoothing method that were developed at Statistics Sweden. In 2012, a review of the smoothing model, which resulted in a small model adjustment and that the smoothing takes place from 95 years of age. In connection with the revision in 2012 were the life tables revised for the years 2006-2011. The life tables for the years 1970 - 2001 are based on the scanned materials from publications. The scanned material is examined, but it is possible that some figures have been misinterpreted in the process. For year 1982-1997The mean population for 100 years refer to all who were 100 years or older. In 2012, was the method to smooth the probabilities of death for the oldest old changed. In connection with this were previously published life tables for 2006 - 2011 revised.observationsProbability of dying (per mil)Since 2006, death risks is calculated by smoothing of probabilities of death from 95 years and older. Between 1973 and 2006 were the death risks smoothed from the age of 91. The change in Method has resulted in a break in series.year1970The mean population for the 0-year-olds refers to the mean population for the 0-year-olds and not the number of births.1970Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.071 years and Women 0.072 years.1971The mean population for the 0-year-olds refers to the mean population for the 0-year-olds and not the number of births.1971Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.074 years and Women 0.103 years.1972The mean population for the 0-year-olds refers to the mean population for the 0-year-olds and not the number of births.1972Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.070 years and Women 0.092 years.1973Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.067 years and women 0.091 years. Originally published values in the 1973 Life table were for Men 0.060 years and for women 0.084 years.1973In the Life table published 1973 were some false values used for the average age at death for 0-year-olds. This resulted in some errors in the last decimal for some ages. The data in the table for 1973 is not revised.1974Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.081 years and Women 0.102 years.1974In the life tables for 1974, were the probability of dying for men too low in the ages of 91-104 years. This means that the remaining life expectancy for men is 0.02 to high in ages 0-61, 0.03 to high between the ages 62-72, 0.04 to high between the ages of 73-76, 0.06 to high for ages 80, 0.12 to high in the age of 85, 0.33 to high in the age of 90, 0.68 to high in the age of 95 and 0.70 to high in the age of 100. Since the foundation is missing to correct the entire table, the originally published values remain in the Statistics database for 1974.1975Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.087 years and Women 0.108 years.1976Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.095 years and Women 0.093 years.1977Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.100 years and Women 0.106 years.1978Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.094 years and Women 0.119 years.1979Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.097 years and Women 0.103 years.1980Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.088 years and Women 0.124 years.1981Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.099 years and Women 0.117 years.1982Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.114 years and Women 0.104 years.1983Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.101 years and Women 0.139 years.1984Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.123 years and Women 0.141 years.1985Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.144 years and Women 0.130 years.1986Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.118 years and Women 0.128 years.1987Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.139 years and Women 0.129 years.1988Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.111 years and Women 0.146 years.1989Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.115 years and Women 0.154 years.1990Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.141 years and Women 0.151 years.1991Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.148 years and Women 0.156 years.1992Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.137 years and Women 0.149 years.1993Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.115 years and Women 0.136 years.1994Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.125 years and Women 0.122 years.1995Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.124 years and Women 0.122 years.1996Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.143 years and Women 0.104 years.1997Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.125 years and Women 0.135 years.1998The mean population for the 0-year-olds refers to the mean population for the 0-year-olds and not the number of births.1998Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.152 years and Women 0.137 years.1999The mean population for the 0-year-olds refers to the mean population for the 0-year-olds and not the number of births.1999Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.128 years and Women 0.150 years.2000The mean population for the 0-year-olds refers to the mean population for the 0-year-olds and not the number of births.2000Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.128 years and Women 0.100 years.2001Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.119 years and Women 0.121 years.2002Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.144 years and Women 0.129 years.2003Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.102 years and Women 0.127 years.2004Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.127 years and Women 0.097 yaers.2005Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.164 years and Women 0.141 years.2006Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.128 years and Women 0.128 years.2007Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.112 years and Women 0.135 years.2008Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.133 years and Women 0.111 years.2009Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.107 years and Women 0.150 years.2010Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.152 years and Women 0.136 years.2011Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.151 years and Women 0.128 years.2012Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.111 years and Women 0.152 years.2013Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.115 years and Women 0.154 years.2014Average age at death for age zero: Men 0,152, Women 0,119.2015Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.115 years and Women 0.106 years.2016Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.141 years and Women 0.141 years.2017Average age at death for age zero: Men 0.120 years and Women 0.139 years.

In June 2018, 67 553 passenger cars were newly registered, up 69.4 percent from June last year. This large increase is mainly due to the new Bonus Malus system that will change the vehicle tax from 1 July 2018.  In July 2018, 13 798 passenger cars were newly registered, down 47.3 percent from July last year. The large decrease is a consequence of the all-time high in new registrations in June, which in turn is due to the Bonus Malus system that were implemented on 1 July 2018.  Statistical news, Registered vehicles.

Since January 2003 swaps are included in the official central government debt which must be noted when comparisions with previous months are done. The instruments in the central government debt are also now valued at their nominal final value in accordance with the same principles in effect in the EU.As of the January outcome 2012, the Swedish National Debt Office has implemented certain changes for how central government debt is reported. The changes apply to the accounting of collateral, which is paid in connection with changes in the market value of swaps and interest rate futures, and of reverse repos in our own government securities. This means in brief that collateral is added and assets in repos in our own securities are removed. Purpose of these changes is to achieve a more consistent and transparent reporting. At the present time, the changes mean that the reported debt will become somewhat larger, but this effect will fade over time.itemswapsCorrection 2011-03-14.
