The Regional Directorate for Health and Social Action is responsible for monitoring the implementation of health and social policies and coordinating all structures in the region, including public health establishments. In this capacity, she is responsible for: coordinating the activities of decentralized health and social services at the regional level; control of the public and private health structures in the region and ensure the fulfillment of the missions of public health establishments; the promotion of health and hygiene; epidemiological surveillance; the availability and functioning of health and social infrastructures and equipment; the collection, processing and transmission of statistical data; inspection and coordination of health and social activities; human resources management in the region; program planning and monitoring; promoting partnership, multisectorality and contracting;
